For this term I am doing math with Chris, one of our student teachers from AUT. We are focusing on splitting the factors.
Here are some examples:

A)  49 x 5 =  245                                       E)      33 x 6 =  198

      49 = 40 / 9                                                     33 = 30 / 3

      40 x 5 = 200  \                                               30 x 6 = 180   \

      9 x 5 = 45      /   245                                      3 x 6 18          /   198

B)  18 x 4 =  72                                            F)    7 x 48 =

      18 = 10 / 8                                                     48 = 40 / 8 

      10 x 4 = 40 \                                                  40 x 7 = 280  \

      8 x 4 = 32   /  72                                            8 x 7 = 56      /  336

C) 6 x 61 = 366                                        G)      4 x 73 = 

     61 = 60 / 1                                                     73 = 70 / 3   

     60 x 6 = 360  \                                               70 x 4 = 280  \

     1 x 6 = 6        / 366                                        3 x 4 = 12      /   292

D) 26 x 5 =  130

     26 = 20 / 6

    20 x 5 = 100 \

    6 x 5 = 30     / 130
